A little about Tierney: After years of of experimenting on willing volunteers along with her own hair, one of Tierney’s best friends convinced her to quit her day job and go to cosmetology school. After completing school, she did hair for a few years in the Dallas area before finally deciding to pursue her dream of moving to wonderful Austin.
When she arrived here, Tierney worked for a couple of different salons, where she was able to learn more about color and hone new skills in men’s styles. “I love doing men’s hair,” she says, “and working with clients to find the perfect style, whether that be classic or more modern and stylized — but I love doing all and any hair that comes my way. My clients are why I love my job, and I love seeing new faces!” Outside of work, Tierney enjoys cooking, baking, knitting, drinking a good craft beer, and lounging with her boyfriend and their cat.
