During each summer month, GENaustin hosts a 3-day camp focused on helping girls manage stress, build healthy friendships, and make a smooth transition to middle school. Yoga, jewelry-making, games and fun are included! The camps for 2014 are:
Calm, Cool & Creative
June 24 – 26, 2014
For girls entering 4th – 7th grade
Girls will learn new ways to manage stress and anxiety, and discover the importance of self-expression. This camp includes yoga, art creation, games and healthy cooking. Also, it’s tons of fun!

June 15 – 17, 2014
For girls entering 4th – 7th grade
Girls will explore healthy friendships by defining what it means to be a good friend. This camp includes jewelry-making, games, creative culinary fun and technology-based activities!

Road Map to Middle School
August 13 – 15, 2014
For girls entering 6th and 7th grade
Road Map to Middle School will inspire girls to be their best selves. This camp includes a panel of middle school experts, games, creative culinary fun, peer learning, technology-based activities and art making!

All GENaustin Camps will be held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Mitte Carriage House at 1008 West Avenue, 78701. Each camp is $150 and still has spots available. Girls are invited to attend one, or all three!
GENaustin would like to give one lucky Free Fun in Austin reader a free spot in the Roadmap to Middle School camp, which will be held August 13-15! This camp is for girls entering 6th and 7th grade. Participating girls will gain the tools and strategies to handle the challenges of middle school.
