ZACH Theatre Cenicienta

Starting this Saturday, you can see the Cinderella story in a whole new way. Cenicienta, a co-production by ZACH Theatre and Teatro Vivo, with Glass Half Full Theatre, is a bilingual stage-adaptation of Cinderella, infused with found-item puppetry, Mexican culture, and humor. In the play, Cenicienta learns to embrace her culture, familia, and the power of language to unlock her true potential. Co-written by Caroline Reck of Glass Half Full Theatre and Rupert Reyes of Teatro Vivo, Cenicienta can be easily understood by Spanish and English speakers alike.

Public performances of Cenicienta will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from April 18 to May 23, 2015. There will be a sensory-friendly performance on Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. All performances will take place on ZACH’s Whisenhunt Stage.

Tickets for Cenicienta start at $12. To purchase tickets, visit the ZACH Theatre website or call 512-476-0541 x1.
