The LBJ Presidential Library will offer free admission to all guests visiting on Memorial Day! Austinites are invited to visit the museum’s interactive exhibits and watch compelling films about LBJ and Lady Bird.
While there, don’t forget to tour “Sixty From The ’60s,” a retrospective of the 60 most influential individuals of that seminal decade featuring music, clothing, artwork, books and posters, iconic items and more. Wild about Barbra Streisand, Peter Max, Billy Graham, and Bob Dylan? Remember Ed Sullivan, Hugh Hefner, John Glenn, Ralph Nader, and Richard Nixon? This exhibit is for you!
2014 free admission days:
- Memorial Day – May 26
- The Fourth of July
- August 27th (LBJ’s birthday)
- Veterans Day – November 11
- Austin Museum Day – September 21
