Feed Your Child’s Love for Acting with Zach Theatre’s Spring Classes

While bug bites are typically something that parents want their kids to avoid, the theater bug is one that they can wholeheartedly push them towards. Nurturing a child’s imagination and love for the stage starting early on is exactly what Zach Theatre does, and their spring 2018 acting classes are now open for registration.

Children learn life skills through theatre education that include creativity, confidence, and collaboration.  All classes, taught by professionals in the field, train young actors about the process of creating theatre while having fun!  Younger classes focus on creativity, confidence, and teamwork, all in a supportive environment.  As classes progress, students become focused on deeper technique in how to perform, create characters, and prepare them for their next big role.

Classes start at the North Campus on January 22 and the Main Campus on January 23 and run through late April. These theatre classes are open to kids in the K-12 age range.

Not quite ready to enroll without testing the waters? Well luck for you, they’re opening up their doors for FREE for the next two weekends so that parents and kids can see exactly what goes on in their classes.

On Saturday, January 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. the Zach North Campus (12129 Ranch Road N 620) and on Saturday, January 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Main Campus (1510 Toomey Road) will be hosting Open Houses so that potential participants can learn more about Zach’s upcoming spring classes. There will also be special guests and performances throughout the event.

The Open Houses include activities for kids ranging from K-5th. After signing up at 10 a.m. the stations open up and kids get to try three different classes.
