Are you all about Alamo Drafthouse? Crazy about Cuvee Coffee? Can’t imagine life without Birds Barbershop? Now is your chance to tell your favorite local businesses how you really feel about them. The 2016 Armadillo Awards, hosted by the Austin Independent Business Alliance, are online awaiting your vote.
There’s a little bit of everything to choose from including nonprofits, restaurants, small businesses, and more to fill out categories like “Soul of Austin” and “Community Champion.” The businesses on the survey were drawn from online nominations by the public in February.
Austin.com is and always has been a site that celebrates and promotes the unique people and places of Austin, TX and surrounding cities. Though many businesses, locations, and events are closed at this time, we continue to highlight those things so that you can plan to experience them in the future.
Voting ends on April 13. The top five finalists will be honored at the Armadillo Awards Show on April 7 at the Scottish Rite Theater. The show includes food, music by Beto and the Fairlanes, a raffle from local businesses, and more. The event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
