Country music fans came out in force to sing along to their favorite country music artists in Georgetown this weekend! For the second year, Two Step Inn took over San Gabriel Park and the unusually cool temperatures couldn’t keep fans away.
Saturday’s schedule was cut short due to rain but the afternoon was action packed with 90’s country singers like Deana Carter and Lee Ann Womack. Before Womack graced the big stage, Big River, Texas, native Drake Milligan brought his vintage rock ‘n’ roll sound to Georgetown and it was electrifying! Milligan also took part in the Keith Whitley tribute, hosted by Ernest. If you’re a fan of “American Idol,” you make recognize Milligan as he competed on the series in 2018 before dropping out to move to Nashville and focus solely on music.
The sun stayed around all Sunday long, as the festival continued to boom with country hits from performers like Charley Crockett, Hank Williams, Jr., and Turnpike Troubadours. Later in the evening, Ludacris closed out the two day festival.
