Waterloo Greenway’s FREE Creek Show is back and this year is better than ever! Read on to find out why.
The 10-night display of illuminated art in downtown Austin runs from November 10 through 18. Tickets are free but reservations are recommended. Free ticket reservations guarantee entry to view the art exhibit anytime between 6 and 10 p.m. Walk-ups are welcome every night until they reach capacity.
New in 2023, Fast Passes are now available for $10! Passes grant priority access to Creek Show any time between 6 and 10 p.m. on the date listed on your ticket.
All proceeds benefit Waterloo Greenway, a local nonprofit whose mission is to create and maintain a new 35-acre urban park system in partnership with the City of Austin.
You can also buy tickets to an opening night fundraiser on Friday, November 10. The event features advanced access and an exclusive first look at this year’s luminescent art, plus a performance by Bidi Bidi Banda & Friends. Tickets are $25.
All exhibits are created by teams of local artists, landscape architects and designers. Waterloo Greenway Conservancy commissions teams to create site-specific, light-based art installations to help raise awareness about the ongoing transformation of Waller Creek and park system. As in 2022, the show returns to the creek and concludes at the Moody Amphitheater located within the park. There you will find live music, food and drink vendors, and family-friendly experiential activities each night at . You do not need tickets to enjoy this portion of the event.
