We are big fans of Dr. Seuss in our house. My six-year-old can now read every one of his books that we have collected, and my three-year-old frequently requests him to do so! The rhymes and pictures of Dr. Seuss are such a family favorite that when I heard we could go see his limited edition secret artwork (for FREE!), I jumped at the chance!

Dr. Seuss: The Whimsy and Wonder of Theodor Geisel

Art for the People is presenting The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss collection in collaboration with ARTon5th, now through January 10, 2016. See evocative paintings, rare prints, and incredible wall-mounted animal sculptures that will inspire every Seuss lover, young and old.

Following the death of Theodor Seuss Geisel, his wife allowed for reproductions to be made of his original art pieces that were on display in their home. The art pieces, which had never before been seen by the public, are now available as numbered limited editions for sale. For more information, this link provides the backstory.

My three-year-old, Gus, was thrilled to see a giant stuffed Grinch, as we had just watched our favorite Christmas movie the day before!
