Bright Horizons has been well known in Austin for more than 30 years as a place where families can find exceptional quality in their children’s preschool and early education programs. Now, Bright Horizons is adding to their six Austin area locations with a center in Westlake — and this weekend they’re celebrating!
The grand opening event will feature a morning of family fun that includes children’s activities, live entertainment, refreshments, and raffles. For parents who want to get to know the new facility better they will have the opportunity to meet educators and explore the Bright Horizons classrooms.
The party starts at 9:30 a.m. this Saturday, February 10, and ends at 11:30 a.m. Catch the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m., then enjoy live interactive music with Joe McDermott, and throughout the event there will be plenty of activities, face painting, and a special visit from Moana. The new Westlake location is located at 4613-B Bee Cave Road.
The new Bright Horizons at Westlake has infant, toddler, twos, preschool, and Kindergarten prep programs. They also offer school-age holiday care and summer camp. They are now open and enrolling in all programs. Bright Horizons is committed to the field of early education and to practices that guide each child’s social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Bright Horizons’ emergent curriculum approach is designed for this purpose, enabling teachers to tailor activities and projects for the specific interests and skills of each child in the class, with the goal of preparing students for success in school and in life.
