Body Pressure is one of those Austin bands that rocks with an intensity that their audience gravitates towards instantly. While hardcore punk is not a well-known genre throughout the local scene, Body Pressure tries to make it relevant. With tracks such as “Prisoner,” the band performs at a breakneck speed, reminding fans of acts such as Madball and Minor Threat, two influential hardcore punk bands from the East Coast. Nothing feels out of reach for Body Pressure, and while they have carved a niche for themselves, loyal fans will make sure that they won’t go unnoticed for long.
