Rebels worldwide are mourning the loss of Leia, AKA Carrie Fisher. But only in Austin can you honor the fearless princess with a lightsaber vigil.
This Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar you can be one with the force and one with an alliance of Carrie Fisher fans lighting up the sky in honor of the woman who we loved. And she knew.
Grab your fellow wookies, ewoks, bounty hunters and even Hutts (now that we’d like to see), don your best Star Wars attire, and bring as many lightsabers as possible.
No saber in your stash? That’s OK. Flashlights and glow sticks are also encouraged.
May the force be with you. And, of course, with our beloved princess. Always.
