After two decades and even more honors (including four Emmy Awards), she left the TV biz and returned to the ATX, shifting gears to focus on the digital landscape. She has always loved sharing adventure with others while being out and about in Austin and traveling around Texas. Now, she gets to do that full time for Austin.com.

Hollywood born, Texas bred, Lola has worn many hats including, but not limited to, fashion and concert photographer, promoter, event planner, florist, and columnist. As a teenager, while other girls dreamt about pop stars, Lola idolized people like Peter Travers (Rolling Stone movie critic), JJ Abrams, and Quentin Tarantino. She’s always had a unique voice and uses it to create a narrative in various aspects of her life. She’s currently utilizing it to cover various activities and events as Managing Editor and Content Guru right here at Austin.com.

California raised but Texas living, Nicolette is relatively new to Austin. As a dental marketing coordinator, she spends her days helping make people smile, and her nights exploring everything this great city has to offer. You can usually spot her around the city, with her dogs and camera attached to her hip!

A born and raised Midwesterner, Maggie moved to Austin in 2015 after graduating from the University of Missouri (go Tigers!). After falling in love with the natural parks, trails, friendly people and of course, tacos, she made the move from central Missouri. Maggie specializes in copywriting and creative writing. Offline and off paper, beer drinking, soccer and her dog, are her top priorities.

When not working on the blog, Julie spends time with her husband, two kids, and two cockapoo puppies.
