Marble Falls, like much of Hill Country is bursting with galleries full of wonderful artwork. Art is celebrated in a special way in the towns that make up Hill Country. Speaking of celebrating, Paint the Town, an annual Plein Air exhibition hosted by Highland Lakes Creative Arts is around the corner. Every Spring over 30 Plein Air artists from across the nation work in various mediums to capture the outdoor sights and scenes of historic Marble Falls and the panoramic Texas Hill Country. This week long celebration features an expansive exhibiting/ sales gallery, live demonstrations, a Quick Draw downtown, Sunrise and Nocturne painting, and a student competition. Plus, a nationally recognized judge will be presenting the award winners.
The 14th annual Paint The Town event is happening May 2 through the 8. Activities open to the public on Friday, May 7 with a FREE family day happening on Saturday, May 8. The Paint the Town family day features finger painting, bubble painting, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic stations open for the kids (everyone) to learn!
