OPT OUTSIDE
In addition to honoring MLK Jr. with a day of service, why not opt outside? Here are some family friendly places we recommend visiting where you can safely socially distance.
Take an easy stroll or hike somewhere like: Bull Creek Greenbelt, McKinney Falls State Park, Pedernales Falls State Park, Hamilton Greenbelt, or Shoal Creek Trail.
Visit an Austin nature center or museum like: Zilker Botanical Garden, Fortlandia at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, or Laguna Gloria.
Take a short drive to a nearby city and wander around their parks or town square. We recommend Wimberley, Georgetown, and Bastrop. Though you can find even more here.
