Where To Find Pumpkin Patches in Austin And Beyond: 2019 Edition

We think it’s fair to say that fall is most people’s favorite time of year. One of our favorite things to do in fall is visit a local pumpkin patch, and we have a huge list for you to choose from! Here’s where to find pumpkin patches in Austin and beyond for 2019. Please call ahead to confirm dates and time before you go, as they are subject to change.

Pumpkin Patches in Austin

Red Barn Garden Center
Daily upon arrival| 12881 Pond Springs Road, Austin
Pumpkins haven’t arrived as of publication time, but as this is one of Austin’s favorite spots to pick a pumpkin, they’ll be arriving soon! Garden Center hours are: Every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Anderson Terrace 
September 27 – October 31|11505 Anderson Mill Road
Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 pm.
Paint a pumpkin for $10. (Weekdays only) Picture ops. Play in the patch. $5 admission which is applied to purchases. Bring the family and of course furbabies (Monday – Thursday for pets). Enjoy activities for the kids, treats for the pets, plenty of photo opportunities, refreshments and lots more! Pumpkins will start at $2 and prices are based on size. Choose from unique varieties plus hay bales and corn stalks to decorate the home!

Bethany United Methodist Church
September 30 through October 31 |   10010 Anderson Mill Road, Austin
You will find pumpkins of all sizes, a large variety of fall decorations, mini pumpkins, and pie pumpkins. All proceeds benefit the church’s youth ministries. Pumpkins are sold at the church through October 31. Pumpkin patch hours are: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and priced range from 75 cents to 75 dollars.

Bethany Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch 
October 11 through October 31| 3701 West Slaughter Lane, Austin
Bethany Pumpkin Patch is back! Opened October 11 through October 31 (if there are enough pumpkins left) from 10am to 7pm (Monday – Saturday) and 9am to 6pm (Sunday).  Come and purchase a pumpkin for a great cause! There is a massive inventory with various sizes of pumpkins, and fun picture opportunities and other items for the families. Free admission to the patch. St. John’s United Methodist Church
October 17 through 31  |  2140 Allandale Road, Austin
St. John’s UMC is now in its 26th year of hosting a community pumpkin patch, with an 18-wheeler full of pumpkins unloaded into designated areas on the playground, transforming it into a bright orange maze of wonder. Opened every day until Halloween – click here to check times.

United Christian Church
October 13 through 31  |  3500 W Parmer Lane, Austin
Join United Christian Church as they connect with UCC members and the neighborhood at their 2nd annual pumpkin patch. Pumpkin Patch hours: 11 am – 7pm, and join October 15, 18, 22, 25 and 29 at 11 am for stories, crafts, songs and more!

SoCo Pumpkin Patch
October 11 through 31  |  Christ Lutheran Church, 212 E Monroe Street, Austin
The church’s pumpkin patch will open at noon on October 13 through 31 (or until pumpkins sell out). This year’s patch will benefit two wonderful charities, Water to Thrive and CWEFT (Concordia Welfare and Education Foundation of Thailand). Hours: Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Cash or checks only.

Pumpkin Patches in the Greater Austin Area

Buda United Methodist Church
October 15 through October 29  |   767 Main Street, Buda
Hours are Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pets are welcome but must be leashed. Schools can contact Hutch White at [email protected] to schedule a time for their groups to visit the patch before noon on school days. Scheduling visits insures we have enough volunteers on hand to read to the children and small $1.00 pumpkins for the children.

St. Richard’s Episcopal Church
October 1 through October 31 | 1420 E Palm Valley Boulevard, Round Rock
The Saint Richard’s Pumpkin Patch serves the greater Round Rock community by bringing people together in celebration of the fall season and raising funds for local and global charities. Steady growth in attendance and pumpkin sales each year make Saint Richard’s one of the largest in Texas, and one of the top five church pumpkin patches in the nation. Hours are: Sunday through Friday from noon to dark; Saturday from 9 a.m. to dark.

Family Festival Pumpkin Patch
Weekends in October  |   Proof & Cooper Restaurant, 18710 Hamilton Pool Road, Dripping Springs
The pumpkin patch will feature kid-friendly activities such as face painting, bounce house, petting zoo and carnival games.  They will have an assortment of pumpkins from big, small, green, white, mini and mega. Check Facebook page for more details and times.

Cross Plants and Produce
September 28 through October 31  |  701 North Old Highway 81, Kyle
Join us for another fun, fall season. Admission is $2 per person for all walking-aged humans, and free for the little ones who aren’t walking yet. Enjoy the picnic area, visit our mini horse and mini donkey, play on the tree swing, climb over and under hay pyramid and tunnel, play in the play house, check out the old tractor, toss some bean bags in the corn hole game and enjoy being outside! You can paint-a-pumpkin for $5 and we’re working on some other surprises we will announce soon. Be sure to support our local farmers by shopping our daily farm market inside the shop where you will find local produce, meats, eggs, milk, honey, coffee, ice cream, pasta and so much more. Pumpkin patch hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

First United Methodist Church of Georgetown
October 10 through 31  |   410 East University Avenue, Georgetown
Welcome to the annual FUMC Pumpkin Patch! The patch is open from October 10 through October 31. Hours are Monday–Friday from 1:00–7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM-7:00 PM. Visiting the patch is free! Pumpkins are available for purchase based on their size. Proceeds from pumpkin sales benefit FUMC Children’s Ministries, Student Ministries, and Mission Ministries. We hope to see you at the patch!

Pfloating Pumpkin Patch 
Saturday, October 12 |  from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  |  Gilleland Creek Pool, 700 North Railroad Avenue, Pflugerville
Visit the coolest pumpkin patch in Pflugerville! Pick your pumpkin, decorate it, and stay for the pfun games and treats. Take a dip in the pool, pick your pumpkin, decorate it and stay for pfun games and treats. The pool will also be open for recreational swim during the event. Price: $10 per adult (includes one medium pumpkin), $5 per child (includes one small pumpkin), or $3 per person (no pumpkin included).

Leander United Methodist
October 15 through 31  |   107 South West Drive, Leander
Find pumpkins of all shapes and sizes! Gourds, decorative corn, a scavenger hunt, plenty of photo ops, and more! Hours are: Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to dusk; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to dusk; and Sunday from noon to dusk. The church will also have a FREE Movie Night in the Pumpkin Patch on Friday, October 18th at 6:30 p.m., a FREE Fall Fest on Saturday, October 26th from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and pumpkin carving on Sunday October 27th from 1:30 – 3 pm.

Pumpkin Patches in Central Texas

The Robinson Family Farm (Temple)
Weekends, September 21 through November 3|   3780 White Owl Lane, Temple
Hours are 10 a.m to 6 p.m. daily. The pumpkin patch offers various games and activities for all ages including: hay rides, duck races, kiddie train, corn maze, hay maze, bounce houses, and much more.  Admission is $10 per person.

Sweet Berry Farm (Marble Falls)
September 21 through November 10 (Closed Wednesdays)  |   1801 FM 1980 Marble Falls 
Hours are: Monday through Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Closed all Wednesdays). Admission and parking are FREE. Pumpkins and gourds are individually priced. Each activity has a fee. Activities include: hayrides, hay maze, pumpkin painting, scarecrow stuffing, face painting, horse rides, sand art, The Sweet Berry Express Barrel Train, The Berry Bounce, and The ‘Texas’ Maze. Payment by cash or check only. Check the website for exact directions, as GPS isn’t always accurate for this location.

Barton Hill Farms (Bastrop)
Weekends only September 28 through November 3 |   1115 FM 969, Bastrop
Hours are: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Admission is $15.95 for ages 3 and up. Kids 2 and under are FREE. You can save $2 if you purchase tickets online. Barton Hill Farms boasts a 5-acre corn maze, frontier games, a pumpkin patch, and more. Check their Facebook page for updates.

Manchaca United Methodist Church (Manchaca)
September 30 through October 31   |   1011 FM 1626 at Manchaca Road, Manchaca
Hours are: Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Don’t miss Movies in the Patch on October 18 and the MUMC Fall Festival on October 26. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of fun. The FREE festival will include family fun, a hay ride, children’s games, a moon jump, food, a cakewalk, crafts, prizes, clowns, music, trunk-or-treat, and more. Pumpkins are grown with all non-GMO products on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Farmington, NM. This annual fundraiser supports the Navajo Reservation as well as the missions and ministries of our church.

The Jersey Barnyard (LaGrange)
Last week in September through October  |   3117 TX-159, LaGrange
Head about an hour southeast of Austin to visit this working dairy farm in LaGrange. The Jersey Barnyard has had a pumpkin patch for the past 18 years. Free photo-ops! Call or check online for daily hours. Bonus – Every Saturday in October they host free pumpkin painting with the purchase of a pumpkin from 10 a.m. to noon.

Texas Big Worm Pumpkin Patch (Bertram)
Weekends September 27 through October 27 | 4625 East TX-29, Bertram
Hours are: Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Admission is FREE! Look for the giant chair and all the pumpkins! Don’t miss story time in the pumpkin patch every Friday from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Evergreen Farms (Elgin)
Saturdays and Sundays in October  |   242 Monkey Road, Elgin
Hours are: Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is FREE, but some activities cost $2.50 to $5. Enjoy a pumpkin hunt, train ride, pumpkin races, bounce house, and much more!

Elgin Christmas Tree Farm (Elgin)
October 5 through 31  |   120 Nature’s Way off Roy Davis Road, Elgin
Hours are: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m. The Pumpkin Festival will take place October 12-13 and 19-20 for $8 admission for kids (age 2-12) and $10 for 12 and up.  Sign up for the newsletter to get a coupon for one FREE admission. Activities included in the price of admission: hayrides, mazes, kiddie train rides (weekends only), a playground, visiting with farm animals, and more.

Nomad Ranch (Bertram)

Join Nomad Ranch for their 3rd Annual Pumpkin Patch and hayrides, pumpkin painting and even feeding a cow a banana! 10 am – 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays during October. Admission and parking are both free of charge! 

Crowe’s Nest Farm (Manor)
Every Saturday in October | 10300 Taylor Lane, Manor
Every Saturday in October from 11AM to 5PM Crowe’s Nest Farm will be hosting a pumpkin patch, local vendors, homemade foods, hayrides, animal shows and more fun! Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for children 3-12, $3 for two year olds and free for children under two. 

Graff 7A Ranch (Hondo)
September 21 through November 30 | 911 US Highway 90 East
About two hours from Austin is a haven of pumpkin patches, bounce pillows, a goat walk, a worm slide, a campfire with smores and so many more fall festivities. Open Friday evenings from 6-9 pm, Saturdays from 10 am – 9 pm and Sundays from 12 – 5pm. Admission is $17.50 for ages 3-64, $12 for seniors 65+ and free for kiddos two and under.
