Eddie V’s
Eddie V’s happy hour runs every night of the week in the V Lounge. Both the 5th Street and Arboretum location offer $8 and $9 shareable teasers, specially priced oysters (as low as $1), plus craft cocktails and wines by the glass for $8. Happy hour at the 5th street location runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, and 4 to 11 p.m. on Monday. Arboretum hours are the same though happy hour ends at 9 p.m. on Sunday and 10 p.m. on Monday.

Uchi
It can prove quite difficult to get a reservation for an optimal time at Uchi. However, happy hour slots are first come first served. The sake social hour at the South Lamar sushi restaurant is a great way to sample the menu at a fraction of the regular cost. From 5 to 6:30 p.m. daily, you can try multiple rolls for $6, both hot and cool options ranging from $3 to 9, and sake as low as $3.

If a swanky spot like Uchi isn’t your scene, then perhaps Sushi Zushi is more your speed. Located at the Domain as well as right next to Mean Eyed Cat at 5th Street Commons, happy hour starts at 3 p.m. and runs till 7 p.m. Sake cocktails and signature drinks are just $5.50, glasses of wine are $5, plus there are specials on flights, Japanese whiskey, craft sake, and more.
