With Austin’s 26th Annual Hot Sauce Festival coming up, the Austin Chronicle decided to make this year’s press release one to remember. Somehow they convinced Austin City Councilman for District 3, Pio Renteria, to take the hot-sauce challenge as he delivered the 26th Annual Hot Sauce Festival line-up. The result is absolutely hilarious!
Renteria tries just one bite of hot sauce from Austin’s appropriately named Tears of Joy, and then attempts to make his way through the press release. At one point, between gulps of milk and gasps of laughter, he exclaims,
Somebody call an ambulance…they should put the people in jail who made THAT hot sauce! Haahahaaa!
