On Thursdays this summer, from July 10 – August 21, 2014, Fish Gallery Austin will host a free summer reading program from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Kids can enjoy a story, crafts, touch tanks, and a demonstration feeding in one of the large display tanks.
If you would prefer to visit Fish Gallery when there’s not a crowd, stop by anytime during regular business hours to browse the unique aquariums. The store is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m. (Closed on July 4.) There are several large tanks to explore – filled with both freshwater and saltwater fish – and a Kids Corner with coloring sheets and crayons. Fish Gallery does host birthday parties in the Kids Corner on weekends, so this area may not be available at all times.
