If you aren’t able to score tickets to Austin’s newest festival, Sound on Sound Fest, then consider giving Austin music festival Pennyfest a try. Hosted by Penny Loafer PR, the company is bringing their annual event back to Austin this summer after a successful 2015 run.
Held at Empire Control and Garage on August 20th, Pennyfest will be a day-long event featuring plenty of local acts such as Quiet Company, Otis The Destroyer, and the Riverboat Gamblers. Penny Loafer PR has put together an enticing video to promote the festival, giving attendees a chance to see many of the Pennyfest bands in action, as well as seeing the full lineup.
The festival is on the affordable side too, with advanced tickets starting at just $10.00. Tickets bought on the day of the event are $14.00. So if you are looking to beat the Texas heat while seeing some entertaining bands, you cannot go wrong with coming out to Pennyfest, as it will be an entertaining day that local music fans will love.
