The Moontower Just for Laughs Comedy Festival is coming back to Austin and this year, there are two weekends of laughs! From April 10 through 24, you can catch 100 + of the best national comedians right here in Austin.
Austin has quickly become a hub for comedy and the list of comedians coming to town for the Moontower Comedy Festival adds even more laughs and sass to our already thriving comedy scene.
Here are the top five events we are most looking forward to at Moontower Comedy Festival 2024!
Two Weekends
If you’re going to throw a festival in Austin, you have to do it for two weekends. Moontower Comedy Festival is following other festivals’ lead as they have two slam-packed weekends of comedy at some of the best theaters and clubs in town! Buy a badge and get access to all of the club shows as well as presale to headliner shows at Paramount Theatre, The State Theatre, Moody Center, HEB Center at Cedar Park, and Bass Concert Hall. You can purchase single tickets for shows as well if you are just wanting to make an evening out of it.
Andrew Schulz
Andrew Schulz is on a roll, and showcasing his stand up talents at Moody Center on April 19. Known for his podcast “Flagrant” and 2022 Netflix special “Infamous”, Andrew will be headlining the festival while still on his selling out quickly “The Life” Tour. Not only is he currently on tour, but you can also catch him in the 2024 comedy The Underdoggs starring Snoop Dogg and Mike Epps. Check out the trailer
Shane Gillis
This recent Austin transplant is hitting the stage at HEB Center at Cedar Park on April 12 and 13, and we can’t wait to hear all of the debauchery! While you may have seen him working on his bits at Comedy Mothership or Creek and Cave, now is the chance to catch him at his stadium show in his new city. Margaret Cho
Make Thursday night a girl’s night and go check out Margaret Cho at Paramount Theatre on April 11! With decades on the comedy scene, this show is sure to be a ROFL level of laugh! Margaret Cho is on her “Live & Livid” tour and we can’t wait to laugh all night long at Paramount.
