Holiday Mountain, one of Austin’s quirkier acts, has released a new single titled “Bump That Bass,” a new electronic influenced song that will pump up the energy in the Austin music scene. With Lauren Patino’s auto-tuned vocals and drummer Zander Kagle playing a simple drum beat that nods to hip hop, Holiday Mountain fans will dig the new single. It’s one of the catchiest songs the group has released to date, yet shares some similarities with another new track, “Mexican Institute of Sound,” though without the snappiness. “Bump That Bass” gives off the feeling that it was influenced by pop singer Meghan Trainor in certain spots, ensuring that pop fans will also enjoy what Holiday Mountain has to offer. Check out the song below.
