Spring is just around the corner, folks! That means it’s that time of year again — time to clear out your closets so you can turn your new and gently used maternity, baby and kids’ items into cash at the upcoming Just Between Friends community consignment events! The Austin area has two JBF events coming up this March — one in Pflugerville at the Lion’s Club, and one in Round Rock at the Old Settlers Association.
But JBF isn’t just for sellers. It’s also for bargain-savvy shoppers who want to save 50–90% off retail prices on quality brand-name items. At a JBF event, shoppers can expect to find maternity clothes, kids’ toys and fashions, costumes and books, baby gear and more. JBF even has a safety and recall specialist who ensures that all items for sale at a JBF event, including car seats, toys and more, are up to current safety standards. Another bonus to shopping at a consignment event: Doing so helps preserve our beautiful planet by recycling great items and keeping packaging out of our landfills.
JBF events also have opportunities for volunteers.
