I heard a Christmas song in the doctor’s office today, which confused my brain because it’s only September. So, I apologize if this post has the same effect. Holidays? It’s only been autumn for five minutes! But, I talked to my photographer pal, Sarah Siller, this weekend, and she assured me that her Holiday Mini Sessions are very nearly booked. Already. Clearly, there are a lot of organized Austinites out there. (For the record, I am not one of them. Sarah took these photos of me and my girls on December 23, when I realized I needed a photo for a Christmas post.)

Let me wax poetic about Sarah for a minute. She is a very talented photographer, of course, but the thing I like best about working with her is this: she is fast. You arrive, you pose, you smile, you’re outta there. When you have a family of seven, most of whom delight in making faces just to drive their poor mother crazy, getting the photos you need in under half an hour is a lifesaver. Holiday cheer is an actual possibility when your portrait session is zippy and fun and you don’t have to threaten anyone.

Holiday portrait mini sessions
Holiday Minis are $150 for a 30-minute session, which includes a hand-edited viewing gallery. You get three images of your choice on a flash drive, with the option of purchasing additional images for $50 each, or the entire collection for an additional $200.
These sessions book very quickly and your date and time is not reserved until payment is received, so if you have a preferred date, call or email soon. Please call, email, message or text Sarah with any questions.
