Several federal land management agencies, including the National Park Service, have announced fee-free days for 2015. A fee-free day is when parks offer free entry or waive the standard amenity fee for visitors.
Enjoy national parks without paying an entrance fee on these dates in 2015:
- January 19 — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- February 14 to February 16 — Presidents Day weekend
- April 18 and April 19 — National Park Week opening weekend
- August 25 — National Park Service’s 98th Birthday
- September 26 — National Public Lands Day
- November 11 — Veterans Day
