Texas History Trunks Storytime: The Mystery of the Monarchs

7 September @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

In celebration of the upcoming annual monarch butterfly migration, we’ll be reading “The Mystery of the Monarchs” by Barb Rosenstock. Join us as we discover the great mystery of these beautiful butterflies by hearing the true story of the scientists, teachers, and kids who made it happen. After we read the story, participants are welcome to get creative and make their own “stained glass” tissue paper butterflies!

Street parking is FREE until 11am on Saturdays! The MetroRail also stops directly alongside Brush Square Park, adjacent to the museums. Additionally, there are also many public parking garages located near the museum. The nearest paid parking garage is the Austin Convention Center Parking Garage located at 601 East 5th St.
