Opening Reception: INVENTORY-ING

Contracommon is proud to present ***Inventory-ing***, a multimedia group exhibition thematically organized around the concepts of archives and the storing or sharing of information. On view in the gallery from **August 23rd through September 21st, 2024**, the exhibition will open with a reception on **August 24th from 4–7pm**, including a discussion with the artists. In addition, The Gallery ATX will be hosting a Zine Fest on Saturday, **September 21st from 12–6pm**, alongside a closing celebration for the exhibition.
Curated by Austin-based new media artist Sara Aleyce Roma, ***Inventory-ing*** features artists whose works revolve around ephemera, collection, and mementos, but are explored through divergent mediums and practices.

Exhibiting artists included in ***Inventory-ing*** are: Alexandra Lechin, Juliette Nickle, Honey Hargrave, Luna Davis, Sam Mayer, Sara Aleyce Roma, Steven Dubov, Serena Zam, Morgan Gage, Únies Gonzalez, Ms. Cashmere, Rachel Glassser, Paisley Blair, Devin Alejandro-Wilder, and Time Being Books.
Contracommon’s gallery is open to the public **Friday through Sunday from 12–6pm** for the duration of the exhibition.
