The popular Central East Austin neighborhood of Mueller is returning for its annual tower lighting, happening December 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at John Gaines Park. The annual event features refreshments, DJ, speakers, and the lighting of Mueller’s Control Tower. The tradition of the NOEL signs atop the control tower dates back to 1961, when the tower first opened.
