Radio Controlled Airshow-“2017 Ride the Lightning”

June 17, 2017 - Free

Come join us at Austin Radio Control Association on June 17th!!

All types of electric powered planes, electric powered jets, multi-rotors, racing quads, helicopters and powered gliders will take to the air during the third annual “Ride the Lightning” Electric Flight Event.

This is a fantastic event to learn how electric powered flight has changed the RC Aircraft industry. It is a great event for kids or anyone that loves to watch airplanes fly!

See giant scale electric planes–with wingspans of 7+ feet–fly, like the F4U Corsair, P38 Lightning, P51D Mustang and the civilian DeHaviland Beaver.

Talk to some ARCA instructors about scheduling a FREE “discovery flight” for anyone 10 years or older.

This event is FREE to the public, with free parking. Concessions will have food available for purchase from 11:00 am-3:00 pm.

Fantastic prizes will be raffled off!

This is an all day event and pilots will fly until dark.
