Discover the Spanish cuisine of El Raval on South Lamar

If you haven’t been to El Raval, you don’t know what you’ve been missing! Located right on South Lamar, the Spanish restaurant is known to whip up innovative cuisine, but it’s their latest chef series that is on another level.

With retail parking on both sides of El Raval, it’s easy to park and take a quick stroll into the Spanish influenced restaurant. While the art and decor is stunning, its the culinary experience Chef Laila Bazahm takes you on that makes this such an incredible spot.

This latest Chef Series featured El Raval’s Chef Laila Bazahm as well as East Side King’s Paul Qui, where they created a Filipino Diaspora Chef’s Tasting Menu.

Course features include rabbit and duck roulade and lamb loin. That, plus the atmosphere lively, make the experience feel out of this country! The course comes near completion with a Wagyu beef cheeks kare-kare that was so tender and melted in your mouth, perfectly complemented with maitake, confit eggplant, and pine nut salsa macha. The cherry on top was a dessert that featured pistachios. The delightful nuttiness of the dessert perfectly wrapped up our dining experience, bringing a harmonious conclusion to the experience.
