Black Student Athlete Summit Calls Out UT Austin’s Lack Of Diversity


Diversity on the University of Texas campus has long been a hotly debated topic.

On Wednesday, the discussion turns to black student athletes and how their numbers fall short to the rest of the student body population during the second annual Black Student Athlete Summit at the AT&T Conference Center.

Experts believe the numbers speak for them self. This fall out of the 39,000 undergraduates enrolled at the University of Texas only 4 percent are black.
