Hey Austin! It’s time to leave the blanket fort at home and head to Lady Bird Johnson’s Wildflower Center for their annual Fortlandia.
Fortlandia is an interactive outdoor exhibition of forts made by local artists, architects, and designers.
There are multiple innovative and interactive forts which run along the one-mile trail of the Texas Arboretum. Make sure to visit the Fort Build area, where you can build your own fort using natural and up-cycled materials!
But that’s not all!
It might be a fort free for all by day but soon you can watch it turn into Luminations at night! You’ll experience the natural wonders of winter featuring lumunaires in addition to the light-splashed forts of Fortlandia.
