**A Day with Mother Earth: A Nervous System Reset**
Saturday, November 16th, 2024 from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm, at Hamilton Pool Vineyard and Farms.
Join us for *A Day with Mother Earth: A Nervous System Reset*, a restorative experience designed to help find inner calm amidst the stresses of recent world events. When going through personal, social, or societal anxiety, our bodies yearn to be grounded in the rhythms of the natural world. Through guided practices, connection with the Earth, and moments of stillness, we’ll create space for the nervous system to release tension and find renewal. Let this day be an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and find solace in the nurturing presence of the Earth—coming back to the seed of our self where we can honor the soil we all grow from.

* It is important to RSVP so we can get a solid headcount and so you can stay informed of any changes to our plans.
* This is an outdoor event. Be mindful of the weather, dress accordingly, wear toed shoes, and prepare appropriately.
* Although described as a one-day event, you are invited to pitch a tent and spend the night Friday and/or Saturday night.
* If arriving during the day, please check the schedule to see where the group might be and what activity we may be doing. Be respectful if we are in the middle of a meditation. There will be a longer hike planned in the afternoon so if you arrive when no one is in camp, please relax and wait until we return. There will be signs directing you to park and to our camp area.
* Please bring a dish to share for our evening potluck meal.
**We are asking for $25 to camp and $15 for a day trip**.
For the afternoon hike, you are invited to bring/find a gift and offer it to Mother Earth (and the directions).
* Something smaller as you will be carrying it on a hike
* Biodegradable as it will be left on an altar in the woods (a stone/crystal, a flower, a stick, paper (note/poem/photo)
* You will have the opportunity to share your gift’s intention with the group.
* On the hike, there is an opportunity to collect/find a gift, as well.

Friday, November 15th
Option to come and camp Friday evening after 4pm to set tents and space
**Saturday, November 16th**
9:00 am: If camping, arrive to set up tents
9:30 am: SCA outdoor gathering begins/call in directions
10:30 am: labyrinth walk and meditation
11:30 am: lunch – sandwich bar and salads
12:30 pm: Nature Hike to hilltop. Medicine wheel teaching
3:00 pm: A Chat with the SCA Elder Council
4:30 pm: Potluck and Socialize (visit/tarot cards/etc.)

6:30 pm Community Journey Circle
9:00 pm Completion of the day
Option to camp overnight!
Sunday, November 17th

6:45 am: drum/sing the sun up
7:30 am: coffee/light breakfast

• This is a family-friendly event; children are VERY welcome!
• This is a no-pets event… sorry.
• If anyone needs camping supplies to use, please speak up so we can arrange for people to bring extra tents/sleeping bags, etc.
• This is an alcohol/drug-free event. Please respect the sacredness of Circle and other attendees. SCA does not utilize Shamanic Teacher Plants to enhance the journey experience. Please understand and respect our policy.
