Gateway Arts, in partnership with Gateway Community Church, presents the Comedy Spartans in “Laugh Away Hunger – Father’s Day Edition,” an improv jam to benefit Feed the Community, Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 6–8:30 p.m. Admission is free with a donation of non-perishable food or hygiene items, or H-E-B Gift Cards.

Help fight hunger in our community as some of Austin’s funniest improvisors band together to perform in this family-friendly show. Similar to the popular TV series “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” improvisors will perform scenes based entirely on audience suggestions. The show starts at 7 p.m. Food trucks will be onsite starting at 6 p.m.

Feed the Community is a ministry of Gateway Community Church that partners with the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. The mission of Feed the Community is to demonstrate God’s love and compassion by assisting those in need with food and fellowship and guide them to other resources to improve their lives.  Feed The Community’s food pantry and community garden helps meet the needs of more than 100 families a week.
