Menorah Lighting at the Capitol
Sunday, December 6 at 6 p.m. | Texas State Capitol, 1100 Congress Ave, Austin
Join Chabad Austin for the lighting of the first candle of the menorah in front of the Texas State Capitol. Texas State Representative Elliot Neishtat will light the first candle. This event will include gelt, dreidels, music, dancing, and FREE menorahs! FREE!
Light the Night – A Glow in the Dark Chanukkah Celebration
Sunday, December 13 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. | The Hebrew Preparatory School, 2127 West Parmer Ln, Austin
Join The Hebrew Preparatory School for a Chanukkah celebration complete with a giant ice menorah to be carved on site, fire jugglers, glow in the dark activities, food, and more. FREE!
Giant Menorah Lighting at City Hall
Saturday, December 12 at 8 p.m. | Austin City Hall, 301 W 2nd St, Austin
Celebrate Chanukah with a night on the town! Join in the lighting of a Giant Menorah in front of City Hall together with Mayor Steve Adler. Live music, hot drinks, latkes, donuts, and chocolate gelt! Get a photo with Judah the Macabee! This event is organized by Chabad of Austin and YJP of Austin. FREE!
