Where To Find Pumpkin Patches in Austin And Beyond: 2017 Edition

We think it’s fair to say that fall is most people’s favorite time of year. One of our favorite things to do in fall is visit a local pumpkin patch, and we have a huge list for you to choose from! Here’s where to find pumpkin patches in Austin and beyond for 2017. Please call ahead to confirm dates and time before you go, as they are subject to change!

Pumpkin Patches in Austin

Red Barn Garden Center
Daily in October  |   12881 Pond Springs Rd, Austin
Pumpkins will arrive the last week of September. A special fall festival is planned for Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. PumpkinFest 2017 will be FREE and will feature a bounce house and more. Garden Center hours are: Monday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Bethany United Methodist Church
October 3-31 |   10010 Anderson Mill Rd, Austin
Pumpkins will be arriving on October 1 and they will start selling on October 2, 2017. You will find pumpkins of all sizes, a large variety of fall decorations, mini pumpkins, and pie pumpkins. Hours are: Monday-Friday from 12:45-1:45 p.m. and 3-7:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Austin Oaks Church
October 8-31  |   4220 Monterrey Oaks Blvd, Austin
The Austin Oaks Pumpkin Patch will be open to the entire Austin community from October 8-31, 2017. Take photographs and pick out the perfect pumpkin for your family! All proceeds go to Redeemed Ministries, an organization that advocates against human trafficking and works to care for survivors. Pumpkin Patch hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 5:30-8:00 p.m.; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 10:30-11:00 a.m. and 12:15-1:30 p.m.

St. John’s United Methodist Church
October 10-31  |   2140 Allandale Rd, Austin
Pumpkin Patch hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-7:00 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 7:00 p.m.

United Christian Church
October 13-31  |   3500 W Parmer Ln, Austin
There will be photo props and a decorating station for the kids daily, and there will be a story time at 10:00 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, starting on the 17th. Pumpkin Patch hours: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Bethany Lutheran Church
October 13-31  |   3701 W Slaughter Ln, Austin
At this annual Pumpkin Patch you can find more than 2000 pumpkins of various sizes for sale. Pumpkin Patch hours: Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

SoCo Pumpkin Patch
October 13-31  |   Christ Lutheran Church, 212 E Monroe St, Austin
The church’s Pumpkin Patch will open at noon on October 13. There will be plenty of photo opportunities. Hours: Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 7:00 p.m.

Pumpkin Patches in Greater Austin

Buda United Methodist Church
September 23 – October 29  |   767 Main St, Buda
Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily.

St. Richard’s Episcopal Church
September 30 – October 31  |   1420 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock
Hours are: Sunday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to dark; Saturday from noon to dark. St. Richard’s annual pumpkin patch allows the church to give back to the community both globally and locally.

Family Festival Pumpkin Patch
Weekends October 6-29  |   Proof & Cooper Restaurant, 18710 Hamilton Pool Rd, Dripping Springs
The pumpkin patch will feature kid-friendly activities weekends from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Cross Plants and Produce
October 7-31   |   701 N Old Hwy 81, Kyle
Pumpkin Patch hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. There will be FREE activities on the weekends.

First United Methodist Church of Georgetown
October 12-31  |   410 E University Ave, Georgetown
Pumpkin Patch hours are daily from 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Pfloating Pumpkin Patch 
October 14 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  |   Gilleland Creek Pool, 700 N Railroad Ave, Pflugerville
Visit the coolest pumpkin patch in Pflugerville! Pick your pumpkin, decorate it, and stay for the pfun games and treats. Price: $10 per person (includes 1 pumpkin) or $3 per person (no pumpkin included).

Leander United Methodist Church
October 16-31  |   107 S West Dr, Leander
Hours are: Monday-Friday from 2:00 p.m. to dusk; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to dusk; and Sunday from noon to dusk. The church will also have a FREE Movie Night in the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. and a FREE Fall Fest on Saturday, October 28 from 2-4:00 p.m.

Pumpkin Patches in Central Texas

The Robinson Family Farm (Temple)
Weekends, September 23 – October 29   |   3780 White Owl Ln, Temple
Hours are 10:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m. daily. The pumpkin patch offers various games and activities for all ages including: hay rides, duck races, kiddie train, corn maze, hay maze, bounce houses, and much more. Individual and/or family photo mini sessions are available to capture your memories to last a lifetime with many photo sites to explore. Admission is $10 per person.

Sweet Berry Farm (Marble Falls)
September 23 – November 5 (Closed Wednesdays)  |   1801 FM 1980 Marble Falls 
Hours are: Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 1-5:00 p.m. (Closed all Wednesdays.) Admission and parking are FREE. Pumpkins and gourds are individually priced. Each activity has a fee. Activities include: hayrides, hay maze, pumpkin painting, scarecrow stuffing, face painting, horse rides, sand art, The Sweet Berry Express Barrel Train, The Berry Bounce, and The ‘Texas’ Maze. Payment by cash or check only. Check the website for exact directions, as GPS isn’t always accurate for this location.

Barton Hill Farms (Bastrop)
Weekends only September 23 – November 5   |   1115 FM 969, Bastrop
Hours are: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Admission is $14 for ages 3 and up. Kids 2 and under are FREE. You can save $1 if you purchase tickets online. Barton Hill Farms boasts a 5-acre corn maze, frontier games, a pumpkin patch, and more. Check their Facebook page for updates.

Manchaca United Methodist Church (Manchaca)
September 24 and runs through October   |   1011 FM 1626 at Manchaca Rd, Manchaca
Hours are: Monday-Friday from 2:00 p.m. until dark; Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to dark; and Sunday from noon until dark. Don’t miss Movies in the Patch on October 13 at 7:30 p.m. and the MUMC Fall Festival on October 21 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of fun. The FREE festival will include family fun, a hay ride, children’s games, a moon jump, food, a cakewalk, crafts, prizes, clowns, music, trunk-or-treat, and more.

The Jersey Barnyard (LaGrange)

Head about an hour southeast of Austin to visit this working dairy farm in LaGrange. The Jersey Barnyard has had a pumpkin patch for the past 17 years. Free photo-ops! Hours are: Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 1-6:00 p.m.

Texas Big Worm Pumpkin Patch (Bertram)
Weekends October 6-29  |   4625 E TX-29, Bertram
Hours are: Friday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Admission is FREE! Look for the giant chair and all the pumpkins!

Evergreen Farms (Elgin)
Saturdays and Sundays in October  |   242 Monkey Rd, Elgin
Hours are: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5:00 p.m. Admission is FREE, but some activities cost $2.50 to $5.

Elgin Christmas Tree Farm (Elgin)
October 6-29  |   120 Nature’s Way off Roy Davis Rd, Elgin
Hours are: Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m. The Pumpkin Festival will take place October 14-15 and 21-22 for $7 admission for kids (age 2 and up).  Sign up for the newsletter to get a coupon for one FREE admission. Activities included in the price of admission: hayrides, mazes, kiddie train rides (weekends only), a playground, visiting with farm animals, and more.
