Category Is…we’re getting ready for a ball! The sweat, tears and mistakes happen BEFORE the glitz and glam! Join us every other Wednesday from 7pm-10pm as The Carver Museum and Kind Clinic hosts a community wide space for folks to sharpen their skills and develop their craft in various categories in ballroom! So, for all of you that want to learn the essentials of Vogue Performance, Sex Siren, Runway, Face, and other categories…this is the space for you. This space is open to all to practice and get better but will also delve into the history of ballroom with a specific focus on the Queer and Trans people of color who are pioneers in the community. Grab your friends, come to the Carver, and join us for a fabulous evening. Oh, and did we mention we’ll have FREE sexual health resources available? Shoutout to our Community Health team for offering free testing during the event!
