Austin Habitat for Humanity and The Home Depot invite the Austin community to celebrate World Habitat Week this week, to help raise awareness about the growing need for affordable housing in Austin and Central Texas.
“World Habitat Week is about inspiring a grassroots campaign among the Austin community to increase awareness of housing needs in our own backyard,” said Dillard Westmoreland, Senior Director at The Home Depot.
In honor of World Habitat Week, Austin Habitat for Humanity will host a family-friendly community festival on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ReStore. There will be refreshments, music , games, and great deals throughout the ReStore!
