WonderLab Workshops: Free for FFIA Readers

WonderLab Austin invites upper elementary and middle school students to ask big questions and learn by exploring!  By pairing kids with mentor guides, WonderLab strives to spark curiosity and motivate a new generation of inspired learners.

This fall, WonderLab mentor guides will host a series of inventor workshops, geared toward students in grades 3 – 8.  These three-hour workshops encourage young inventors to put their imagination and problem-solving skills to work.

Normally $50 per session, Free Fun in Austin readers are invited to try one workshop for FREE! To register for your free workshop, simply select the workshop your child would like to attend and enter the promo code FFIA at registration.  If you have multiple children in the target age range of 8 – 13, you may register all of them to attend the workshop of your choice for free.

Workshops run from 9 a.m. to noon, and will focus on the following topics:

October 11 – SOAR IT (planes/rockets)
October 18 – SAIL IT (boats)
October 25 – SAY IT (language)
November 1 – ROLL IT (cars/trains)

November 8 – CODE IT (software)
November 15 – LIGHT IT (electricity)
November 22 – PLAY IT (musical instruments)

Head over here to register and use the promo code FFIA to try one workshop for free!  You may choose whichever workshop you like, but may only try one at no charge.  You will not be asked for payment information when registering.
