When Do The Splash Pads Close?

Many of our area splash pads will soon be closing for the season. 

Here is the updated 2014 splash pad schedule:


Austin

North

  • Bailey Park – Open through September 7, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Closed Mondays. 1101 W. 33rd St. (Review)

  • Bartholomew Park – Open daily through September 7, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 5200 Berkman Dr. (Review
  • Chestnut Park – Open daily through September 7, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 2207 E. 16th St. (Photos
  • Lott Splash Pad – Open through September 4, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 1108 Curve St. Closed early for the season due to an electrical problem.
  • Metz Splash Pad – Open daily through September 7, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 2407 Canterbury St. (Review
  • Rosewood Splash Pad – Open daily through September 7, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. The neighboring Rosewood Pool is also free, but is open different hours for recreational swimming. The pool closes on August 24, 2014. 1182 Pleasant Valley. (Review

  • Ricky Guerrero Splash Pad – Open through September 7, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Closed Wednesdays. 1100 Brodie St. (Review
  • Dick Nichols District Park – Open daily through October 14, 2014, from 5 a.m. – 10 p.m. Not really a splash pad, but there is a stone dolphin that spits water. Kids press a button for about a minute of water play. 8011 Beckett Rd.

Bee Cave

  • Hill Country Galleria – Open daily, year-round, during mall hours. Closed when the weather is bad or when another event is scheduled to take place in the amphitheater.   • Main Street Plaza – Open year-round: 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Sunday; 7:30-11:00 a.m. and 2-10:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday; 7:30-11:00 a.m. and 2-11:00 p.m. on Friday; and 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
