Heartsong Music teaches Music Together®, the internationally recognized music and movement program for children from birth through grade two—and the adults who love them. Beloved by millions of children, parents, and early childhood educators for almost 30 years, Music Together serves 2500 communities in over 40 countries and connects families across the globe as they express and explore the basic human instinct for making music! - Opening Reception for It’s Not What You Think: 2018 Senior Art Exhibition

The Senior Art Exhibition catalogs a pivotal moment for many young artists graduating from the Department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Austin. It’s Not What You Think includes a range of work in print, sculpture, painting, photography, video, installation, and game design by students receiving bachelor’s degrees in Studio Art and Visual Art Studies. Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a FREE movie night at Community First! Village. Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening of Thor Ragnarok. Get there at 7 p.m. to pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks. Hot dogs, milkshakes, popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase (cash preferred). The Blanton Block Party is back! Be there for a free day-to-night community festival to kick off Spring and celebrate the big changes on the block. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin, the freestanding building designed by the renowned artist as a place for “joy and contemplation” and now part of the museum’s permanent collection. The galleries and outdoor plaza will be buzzing throughout the day with activities for all ages, including art making, live music, dining, and special museum tours. Hop on over to the Northwest Recreation Center for their annual Easter egg hunt and chance to meet the Easter Bunny! This event is for walking toddler to 5-years-old. Amission is $3 per child. Please bring your own baskets and a camera to get a picture with the Easter Bunny. - Egg and Palm Decorating Workshop Egg Hunt by Austin Polish Society ($5)

Austin Polish Society is hosting an Easter Egg painting and Palm making workshop and the drowning of Marzanna (Frost Maiden). Decorating eggs and making beautiful, colorful palms for Easter are very distinctive Polish Easter Traditions. Children and adults alike are invited to enjoy some arts and craft in beautiful surrounding of a River Place Park. Materials and refreshments will be provided. Please bring old clothes or T-shirts and your own basket for the Easter Egg Hunt. For Easter Palms, bring short sticks, 50 cm (20 inch) or more and any green additions for your Palm. Admission for this event will be $5 per person.
