February is coming to a close and we’ve got the best family friendly events to get your weekend going! In honor of Black History Month and relevant to the issues America faces today, this exhibit highlights Barbara Jordan’s significant impact on civil rights legislation, female empowerment and social justice. The Barbara Jordan Freedom Foundation will display an interactive exhibit of Jordan’s life on the ground floor of the Texas Capitol Rotunda from Monday, February 19, to Saturday, February 24, 2018.
