NFL Football In Austin – Here’s Where To Watch Your Favorite Team

Another NFL season is underway, making our Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays a whole lot more entertaining. With so many transplants from all over the country, from students to tech workers, along with the fact that Austin doesn’t have its own pro football team, a lot of teams across the AFC and NFC are represented by fans in the ATX. So, where to watch NFL football in Austin? That is the question!

Where To Watch NFL Football In Austin

AFC East

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to locate a bar for Miami Dolphins fans.

Burnsides Tavern (413 East. 6th Street) is the place for New York Jets fans

Parlor & Yard (601 West Sixth Street) is where you’ll find a huge gathering of the Austin Buffalo Bills Backers — they’ve added more shade and fans so the Texas heat isn’t quite so bad for the watch parties.  And the East Side Austin Bills Backers can be found at Nickel City (1133 East 11th Street)! You can even catch the Buffalo Bills season kickoff party at Nickel City before the Bill’s first game!

“Where Austin Meets Boston” B.D. Riley’s is home to the largest New England Patriots fan club in Texas. Watch EVERY Pats game with the Austin New England Patriots Fan Club at B. D. Riley’s Irish Pub (1905 Aldrich Street) inside or on the patio, on big HDTVs with sound.

AFC West

It looks like fans of the Denver Broncos meet at various places around Austin, but you can keep up with the Broncoholics on Facebook where it appears they meet up at The Local – Mockingbird Saloon (2610 Guadalupe Street).

Kansas City Chiefs fans can mingle with other arrowheads at Kung Fu Saloon (715 W. 6th Street).

Fans of the Raiders have two locations to watch – one North and one South. Northsiders gathered in 2022 at Twin Peaks (100 Louis Henna Boulevard) while South siders were at SABG (10700 Manchaca Road).

We are currently unsure of where Los Angeles Chargers fans gather.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens fans can find their flock at the Raven’s Nest 512 at Lavaca St Bar – South Lamar (3121 South Lamar). Wear your Ravens gear for $15 domestic buckets!

The Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Club of Austin now meets at The Bon Aire (9070 Research Blvd, #101). According to organizer Jackie Huba, the Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Club of Austin hosts anywhere from 100-200 fans per game, and they’ve been doing so for more than 10 years now. If you’re looking to stay downtown to watch games, join other fans at Shiner’s Saloon (422 Congress Avenue).

Cincinatti Bengals fans may be wondering Where Dey come game day. Join at their new location downtown at Mayfair (501 West Sixth Street).  More information can be found in the Who Dey ATX Facebook group.

Fans of the Cleveland Browns have two watch locations in town: Green Light Social (720 W 6th Street) and Baker Street Pub (3003 South Lamar Blvd).

AFC South

The Austin – Jacksonville Jaguars Watch Party page listed Dogwood (715 West Sixth Street) at their location for watch parties in 2022.

Indianapolis Colts fans host their watch parties at Chupacabra Cantina (400 East 6th Street).

Of course there are plenty of Houston Texans fans in Austin and the Austin Texans Fan Group (just under 2K members on Facebook) will watch the kick-off game at the Blind Pig (317 East Sixth Street).

The Tennessee Titans fans meet at Mister Tramps (8565 Research Boulevard).

More places to watch NFL Football in Austin!

NFC East

Most bars in Austin that aren’t already designated for another team are Dallas Cowboys bars — this is Texas, after all. However, the official bar for the Cowboys fans is The Lodge on 6th (411 East Sixth Street).

The Austin Washington Commanders Facebook fan group lists Aussies (306 Barton Springs Road) as their location.

Any New York Giants fans in the house? The official watch party for the New York Giants in Austin Texas happens at The Dizzy Rooster (306 East Sixth Street).

The Austin-Philadelphia Eagles Watch Party happens at The Cat’s Pajamas (610 Nueces Street).

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals fans listed multiple locales for watch parties on their Facebook page in 2022 so we are unsure of where they will be gathering this year.

You’ll find the official Seattle Seahawks Booster Club, The Austin, Texas 12s, cheering loudly at Common Interest Karaoke Bar (8440 Burnet Road) in North Austin. With an entire wall of the venue dedicated the Seahawks, you’ll feel right at home with the staff’s great hospitality and Seahawks camraderie.

The Los Angeles Rams fans are meeting at Barzon (1411 East 7th Street).

San Francisco 49ers fans will be settling in at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (701 West Sixth Street).

NFC North

Chicago Bears fans can watch their game at Dogwood (715 West 6th Street).

The Green Bay Packers fan club lists three locations to gather: Shooters on 620 (11416 FM 62), an official Packers Fan Cave, Billy’s on Burnet (2105 Hancock Drive), or Star Bar (600 West Sixth Street).

Detroit Lions fans will be roaring along with the Michigan crowds at Haymaker (2310 Manor Road) with the Detroit Lions Watch Group. They’ll also be enjoying $2 off pitchers of beer, $2 mimosas, and $3 bloody marys and red sangria on Sundays.

The Minnesota Vikings – Austin, Texas Fanclub meets up at Warehouse Billiard Bar (509 East Ben White Boulvard).

NFC South

Fans of the almighty Who Dat chant know they can find New Orleans Saints games served up with ice cold Abita beer and amazing cajun food at Shoal Creek Saloon. In past years, North Austin fans also cheered for the black and gold at Pluckers Lakeline (11066 Pecan Park Boulevard).

It makes sense that we have so many Saints fans in Austin, since New Orleans is so close, and we have so many post-Katrina settlers in Austin. It also helps that Drew Brees is from Westlake!

The Carolina Panthers watch parties are being held at Pour Choices (401 East Sixth Street).

Atlanta Falcons fans can find fellow Dirty Birds on this Facebook group. We are currently unsure of where they gather to watch games.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers can be found at Thirsty Nickel (325 East Sixth Street).
