¡Viva México! 2014

Austinites are invited to join the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center on Saturday, September 13 for ¡Viva México! 2014, a celebration of Mexico’s Independence.  Doors will open at 7 p.m. for children’s activities, food vendors, and live music.  This event is free and open to the public.

The line-up:

  • ESB-MACC Rondalla performing the Mexican National Anthem
  • Danza Azteca Guadalupana, a group of 24 dancers performing traditional pre-Columbian Aztec dance
  • Ranchera singer Lesly
  • Trio Los Vigilantes

Free shuttles will be available from Sanchez Elementary and Martin Middle School. There will be free parking on Holly Street.
