Top Free Austin Events Happening This Weekend: June 24 through June 26, 2022

With a few more hundred-degree days in our forecast, it’s going to be a Texas summer worthy weekend! From movies in the park, to kid friendly yoga, to summer solstice parties, here are some of this weekend’s top FREE events.

This list contains a mix of family-friendly and adult focused Austin events.

Movie Sing-a-Long: Moana

What can we say except you’re welcome! Come aboard for a sing-a-long screening of Moana, and make your own Maui hook necklace using the Easter Island glyph alphabet.

Ocean-Themed Crafts

Take-home an ocean themed craft throughout the day. This Friday’s activity is a sock-topus!

Movies in Your Park Killeen
Friday, June 24th | From 7:30 to 10 p.m. | Killean Ampitheater, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Killeen

Bring your own blanket, chairs, snacks and refreshments for a screening of Luca right in Killean.

Midsommar

Equinox Pride Ride and Sip and Shop

Family Summer Picnic

Family Summer Picnic is an event for all ages! Come hang out, play yard games, play in the pool, enjoy a popsicle, and help the Northwest Family YMCA celebrate 20 years of serving our community.

Outside Voices
