Top Free Austin Events Happening This Week: July 25 through July 29, 2022

The last week of July is already here! If you haven’t had a chance to experience everything FREE around Austin yet this summer, now is your chance. With FREE indoor and outdoor events for kids and adults all over Austin, here are this week’s “can’t miss” events.

This list contains a mix of family-friendly and adult focused Austin events.

Make and Watch: Sing 2
Monday, July 25th | From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. | Ruiz Branch of Austin Public Library, 1600 Grove Boulevard

Enjoy a FREE screening of Sing 2, while also enjoying snacks AND an activity, all at the Ruiz Branch of the Austin Public Library!

My Chemical Mondays with EMO Bingo
Monday, July 25th | From 8 to 11 p.m. | Fourth & Co, 208 West 4th Street

Come cry your heart out while you sing along to your favorite emo and pop punk jams, hosted by the one and only Party By Blake. ‘If Ohio is for Lovers, then Monday is for Emo Bingo’. Music videos, multiple rounds of bingo, late night snacks and booze for your boo-hoo’s. Skinny jeans encouraged; complimentary tissues provided. 21+.

American Sign Language (ASL) Storytime
Tuesday, July 26th | From 10:30 to 11 a.m. | Round Rock Public Library, 216 East Main Street, Round Rock

Join Round Rock Public Library and Miss Kathryn for bilingual story times in ASL and spoken English for kids ages 3 & up and their families. Children will have the opportunity to learn or practice ASL through rhymes, songs, and books.

The Office Trivia Night
Tuesday, July 26th | From 7 to 10 p.m. | Hotel Vegas, 1502 East 6th Street

21+ and teams up to 6 players welcome. Get there early. We’re going to play some fun mini games starting at 7, then our Office quiz starts right at 7:30.

Sound Bath in the Treehouse

Stop by the Treehouse in Pease Park to soak up music by clarinetist and saxophonist Dr. Ivan Valbuena during our Sound Bath.

Summer Cinema: Clerks
Wednesday, July 27th | From 8 to 10 p.m. | Armadillo Den, 10106 Menchaca Road

Join us at Armadillo Den as we screen the cult classic Clerks, for FREE! This year, Summer Cinema is 21+ and visitors can enjoy draft cocktails from Armadillo Den as well as snacks from a variety of on-site food trucks!

Live Music: The Way Down
