  1. Dallas Stars Training Camp – Monday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 22; times vary. The Dallas Stars’ NHL training camp is going on now at Cedar Park Center. The practices on Monday and Tuesday are all open to the public. See the schedule. Don & Audrey Wood Speaking & Signing The Full Moon at Napping House – Monday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. After 30 years, Don and Audrey Wood have written and illustrated The Full Moon at the Napping House, a perfectly crafted companion to the beloved classic The Napping House. Put on your favorite pajamas and join BookPeople for a puppet show at 5:30 p.m. Then, at 6:00 p.m., Don and Audrey will read their new story, do an illustration demonstration, and sign books. The speaking portion of this event is FREE and open to the public.   3. Unplugged at the Grove: Jimmy LaFave – Thursday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m. Join KGSR at the iconic Shady Grove for the final FREE concert in this year’s Unplugged at the Grove series. Shady Grove, 1624 Barton Springs Rd, Austin.

American Indian Heritage Day – Friday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The last Friday of September is American Indian Heritage day in Texas, so come celebrate at the Bullock Museum. There will be performances by the Great Promise for American Indians, open discussions about the culture and traditions of native groups in Texas, and opportunities to see drumming and dancing displays throughout the day. Stop by in the morning for performances or come to the public celebration from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Admission to museum exhibits is not included. FREE! Bullock Texas State History Museum, 1800 N Congress Ave, Austin.
