1. HAAM Benefit Day – Tuesday, September 23. HAAM Benefit Day 2014 is a uniquely Austin event where businesses donate 5% of the day’s proceeds to HAAM to support musicians’ health. Musicians, most of whom are HAAM members, perform throughout the day at retail stores, outside stages, and more. The event runs from 6 a.m. to well past midnight and community members are invited to shop, eat out, listen to great live music and enjoy. View lineup and locations here. FREE! 
2. Austinville Block Party – Tuesday, September 23 from 4-8:00 p.m. This block party will feature flight demonstrations from some of the world’s top flyers, tastings from Phil’s, Amy’s and Baked, and live music from local youth bands Bat City and RIIL Chemistry. Admission is FREE and all are welcome. Amy’s Tricksters will be in full effect, Baked is having a decoration station, and the burgers and beer will be flowing at Phil’s. Life Ki-do martial arts will be hosting classes, and you can work on your swing at the Top Golf Swing Clinic. 3. Dinner and a Movie in the Plaza (Round Rock) – Wednesday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m. Music by Strangedayz begins at 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Krave Wine Bar and Bistro will be selling refreshments. The Wedding Singer begins at 8:15. Rated PG-13. FREE! Prete Main Street Plaza, 221 E Main St, Round Rock.
4. Fajita Fiesta (Buda) – Friday, September 26 from 5-10:00 p.m. Fajita Fiesta is a free event that offers something for all ages. Fiesta goers will experience the blending of foods, music and cultures. They will also rediscover Texas thorough sights, sounds and their taste buds. Fajita Fiesta is a family friendly event with free admission, free parking and free concerts. There will be food booths, vendors, games, a jalapeno eating contest, talent show, mariachi groups, arts and crafts. 5. American Indian Heritage Day Celebration – Friday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Celebrate the traditional and contemporary arts of Texas’s American Indian groups. This public program will honor American Indians of yesterday and today, including an Entry of Nations, recognition of the holiday, and dancing and drumming performances. Stations to learn more about traditional craft and foodways will be available both before and after the program. FREE and fun for all ages.
