Top 5 Free Things to do in AustinTexas Radio Live – Wednesday, October 5 from 6-8:00 p.m. Texas Radio Live brings you the very best Texas music with performances from Texas musicians. This week, Terri Hendrix and Sefo are to perform. FREE but donations to support the KDRP Radio Mission are appreciated. Wine Down Wednesday – Wednesday, October 5 from 6-9:00 p.m. Event stations will be set up in four designated locations throughout the shopping center, each serving a different wine selection paired with small bites and live music. FREE! The Arboretum at Great Hills, 10000 Research Blvd, Austin.

Free Noon Concert – Thursday, October 6 at 12:00 p.m. Take a 30-minute lunchtime break to hear Mark Cruz on the guitar. FREE! Central Presbyterian Church, 200 E 8th St, Austin.

Daytripper Season 8 Premiere Party (Georgetown) – Thursday, October 6 from 6-8:00 p.m. Howdy, Trippers! Are you ready to party? Bring lawn chairs and your family to watch the premiere of the Big Bend episode. There will be food, prizes, fun, and more. Movies in the Park: Best in Show – Thursday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. From Weimaraners to Westies, Austinites love their dogs. Bring your furry friends to this screening of everyone’s favorite off-beat mock-umentary about the competitive world of dog shows. Film starts at dusk. Dogs, picnics, and lawn chairs are welcome.
