The Compassion Experience (Buda) (RSVP) – Monday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. This family-friendly event features an interactive journey through the true stories of children living in developing countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic. In over 2,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, visitors will step inside homes, markets and schools — without getting on a plane. Each child’s story starts in poverty but ends in hope. FREE but RSVP is required here. The Connection Church, 1235 South Loop 4, Buda.

Little Red Riding Hoodie: A Fractured Fairytale of Fantastical Proportions – Monday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. Prompted by a dream involving a genie and a magic lamp, Little Red commences a journey through the forest in order to bring her ailing mother her famous Gluten-Free Vegan Beet Kale Muffins. This funny, interactive, and visually compelling original piece about courage, empathy and resolution is suitable for all ages, but geared toward children ages 3 to 7.   3. National Reuse Day – Thursday, October 22 from 6-7:45 p.m. Celebrate National Reuse Day with Austin Creative Reuse by reusing old record album covers to make beautiful nested gift boxes.
